By the way, until now I couldn’t register with the SSS Online Inquiry system of the SSS. I tried many times but the system rejected my attempts.

On the email I received from the Online Inquiry system of the SSS, it told me to call the hotline of the SSS. But when I tried to call them I couldn’t get anyone to answer me. Most of the times, the phone are busy and there are times that the phone ring but no one answered the call.

But just like what everybody knows, what to expect with the government service?

You know, I visited a Municipal Hall where every employee had logged in to the logbook. According to the record, they went to work at 8:00AM and went out at 12:00Noon. But if you’ll look for them at their offices, you couldn’t find them there. When I roamed around the town, I found them in a house playing card game, some were at their home doing household chores and some where just standing or sitting around the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal.

And actually, this happened not only in my municipal hall. Try visiting the municipal hall in your town and observed them.

What I wanted to tell you is that most of the government employee are not really honest to their works. So, we’ll also be expecting that those people assigned at the hotlines of the SSS are doing the same.

But in fairness to the SSS employees here in my place, I found them busy working their tasks although some of them are “masungit”.

I started earning only few cents a day from few clicks on the Adsense ads published on my blog. But when my blog got an increasing traffic, I also started seeing an increasing money flowing into my Adsense account.

I did not immediately retire from my day job even if I was already earning a decent income from Google Adsense. Instead, I used my day job as my source of money to finance my blogging activities.

After few years, or in 2006, my retirement came.

Yes! I retired early. I was 29 years old then.

However, I did not stop blogging, not just because I need a continues flow of money into my pocket but also to satisfy my needs. To let you know, blogging became part already my daily life and it seems that my life was incomplete without doing my blogging activities.

Then time came that I finally realized that I should not pull all the eggs from one basket only. And I need to find some ways in monetizing the blog for me to earn more.

Fortunately, there are lots of advertising programs that sprouted in the internet. I already mentioned the Google Adsense. We also have the Chitika’s eMiniMalls, WidgetBucks, Text Link Ads, Azoogle Ads, Intelli Txt, DoubleClick, Tribal Fusion, Adbrite, Clicksor, AdHearUs, Kanoodle, Pheedo, TextAds, Bidvertiser, Fastclick, Value Click and BlogAds.

You really have the options what to use.

RSS Advertising

I am actually making money from RSS advertising too, but the ads are still coming from Google Adsense. The income is not quite high but at least it adds up into my income.

Direct Advertisers

Direct advertisers are called by others as sponsors.

Before, I was actively writing contents sponsored by advertisers. They directly contact me, and ordered me to write anything about the product. This job is of course paid by them.

Then time came that I realized the need to sell advertising spot to advertisers. And it was quite successful. Actually, until now I am still earning money from advertisers who rented a spot in my blog.

Affiliate Programs

Lots of bloggers are already earning huge money by selling products, then they received payments from every product sold through their referrals. There’s a lot of available affiliate programs out there and few of them are catered by Clickbank, Amazon Associates, YesAsia Associates and others.

eBooks Selling

Some bloggers who learned a lot of things from blogs compiled their thoughts in blogging and making money online into an ebook. Then they market the ebook to those who are still starting to blog and starting to learn things from blogging.
