Even Monkeys Have Human Characteristics

Some said that Filipinos love monkey business but I haven’t heard somebody said that monkeys have human characteristics until the result of the research on monkeys did by the team of US and Italian scientists was released. It was already known that human prefers to be with other who try to imitate their gestures, postures or mannerism although those who are being imitated don’t know that the others are imitating them. Bad Weather Breaks Communication Cables, Affects PLDT & Smart

Submarine communication cables within the APCN 2 (Asia-Pacific Cable Network) which connects countries in the Asia Pacific region of which Philippine landing point is in Batangas Bay, Batangas City, was broken due to the bad weather. The fault occurred in between China, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore yesterday and affects the communication services of PLDT and SMART. Smart’s mobile subscribers may experience difficulties in communicating their loveones abroad and those who are using Smart Bro and Smart Bro Plugit will experience slow connection when visiting websites hosted abroad. On the other hand, PLDT is currently re-routing traffic to the other cable system. President Gloria Arroyo, First ePassport Holder

The state-of-the-art passport, ePassport, has been launched during the 111th founding celebration of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Philippines. The first Filipino to have the ePassport is no other than President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo with the serial number EA0000001. The security features of the ePassport includes a hidden encoded image, holographic lamination, and the tamper-proof IC chip that stores the personal data of the holder and his digital photo. The ePassport can be read using the chip reader which is already used by authorities controlling the borders. My other blog was recently nominated to the Philippine Blogs Award. It’s my wife who nominated the blog actually. She told me the next day after she nominated the blog.
